SELF-DISCOVERY
Human emotions are complex, but important. Too often we’re taught to mask our sadness, quell our fear and disguise our anger. While there is undoubtedly a time and a place, to fully understand oneself, is to understand our thoughts, feelings and emotions; what we’d like to call ‘self-discovery’.
We have dedicated this journey to honoring our authenticity; embracing vulnerabilities and accepting our emotions, while finding practical techniques to cope and succeed.
Using techniques supported by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, we hope to identify emotional responses, behaviours, triggers and potentially, distorted thinking patterns.
We also offer Journey Within: Self-Discovery for Adolescents. Sharing the same goals, this program also includes the challenges adolescents face as they transition through important life cycles
We are able to provide guidance, knowledge and insight, while you light your own path towards a stronger sense of self, more meaningful relationships, and a better understanding of your day-to-day life.
Journey Within: Self-Discovery consists of:
• 8 weeks, meeting each week for 2 hours (in-person or online)
• Personal Journal
• Certificate of Attendance
